1. Introduction to Y-type filter
The Y-type filter is an indispensable filtration device for the pipeline system that transports media. The Y-type filter is usually installed at the inlet end of a pressure reducing valve, pressure relief valve, fixed water level valve or other equipment to remove impurities in the medium. , to protect the normal use of valves and equipment. The Y-type filter has the characteristics of advanced structure, low resistance and convenient sewage discharge. The applicable media of Y-type filter can be water, oil and gas. Generally, the water mesh is 18~30 mesh, the ventilation mesh is 10~100 mesh, and the oil mesh is 100~480 mesh.
Y-type filter (water filter) belongs to the pipeline coarse filter series. It can also be used to filter large particles in gas or other media. When installed on the pipeline, it can remove large solid impurities in the fluid, making the machine equipment (including compressors, pumps, etc.) etc.), the instrument can work and operate normally, stabilizing the process and ensuring safe production. The Y-type filter (water filter) produced by Shanghai Hugong Valve Factory can be customized according to customer's specific requirements (special pressure, special diameter). Y-type filter (water filter) has the advantages of simple production, convenient installation and cleaning, and large dirt holding capacity.
2. Y-type filter testing principle
Bubble point method test principle: When the filter membrane and filter element are completely infiltrated with a certain solution, and then pressurized on one side through the air source (there is an air intake control system inside the instrument, which can stabilize the pressure and adjust the air intake), as the pressure increases When the pressure increases, gas is released from one side of the filter membrane, indicating that bubbles of varying sizes and numbers appear on one side of the membrane. The corresponding pressure value determined by the instrument is the bubble point.
Diffusion flow test principle: Diffusion flow test means that when the gas pressure is 80% of the bubble point of the filter element, there is no large amount of gas passing through, but a small amount of gas is first dissolved into the liquid phase membrane. Then it diffuses from the liquid phase into the gas phase on the other side. This part of the gas is called diffusion flow.
Why is the diffuse flow method better? The bubble point value is only a qualitative value. From the beginning of foaming to the final group of foaming is a relatively long process and cannot be accurately quantified. Measuring the diffusion flow value is a quantitative value, which can not only accurately determine the integrity of the filter, but also reflect issues such as membrane porosity, flow rate and effective filtration area. This is why foreign manufacturers now use Reasons for Diffusion Flow Testing Integrity.
Water intrusion method test principle: The water intrusion method is specially used to test hydrophobic filter elements. The hydrophobic membrane resists water. The smaller the pore size, the greater the pressure required to squeeze water into the hydrophobic membrane. Therefore, under a certain pressure, the water flow squeezed into the filter membrane is measured to determine the pore size of the filter element.
